For Liverpool, the schedule has been brutal the last few weeks. While Liverpool is undoubtably the most trustworthy team on the power scale, no squad is immune to the effects of a heavy schedule with tough opponents. In the last 11 days, Liverpool have played Chelsea, RB Leipzig, Arsenal and now Brighton. To make matters even sketchier, they played Brighton midweek in the EFL cup (3-2 win) and have a big matchup against Leverkusen on Tuesday. This is the kind of week where the Anfield faithful need to become that 12th man on the field.
For Brighton, sitting 6th in the table is a nice start but they will feel they have more to prove and date with Liverpool is the perfect opportunity to showcase that threat.
This could be a tough game to play. Most people will feel that Liverpool can find it's way through, but at -250 the Money line isn't there for us to safely latch.
